HomeWelcome to CUTwC
The Cambridge University Tiddlywinks Club exists to promote the game of Tiddlywinks in the University and the world, to beat Oxford once a year in the Varsity Match, and to gently poke fun at people who think that sport is serious.
In 1955 a group of Cambridge undergraduates invented the modern game of winks. It's based on the children's game that you probably remember, but those first Cambridge winkers added rules to turn it into a game which requires a combination of the physical skills of snooker or croquet with the tactics of chess. Don't believe me? Clicky to find out what the game is like.
Better still, come along to the next club meeting. Meetings happen every Wednesday during Full Term, at 8pm in the Tower Room, Selwyn College. Special events will be announced here.
Also, don't miss out on the regular Pub Crawl of Cambridge.
Members of the club can sign up to the mailing list.
